Fall Season Fundraiser

donation focus
School has returned to session across the United States, as it has in communities throughout the reservations of South Dakota and beyond. This year, our fall fundraiser is aimed at delivering books and other resources to elementary school children throughout South Dakota’s Pine Ridge Reservation, the Shannon County Virtual High School, and the Books for a Head Start organization. Books range from engaging novels, to math workbooks, to class-circulated encyclopedias. Resources revolve around supplies for the teachers and their respective class, including coloring pencils, rulers, and arts & crafts.
In total, we are requesting $3,925 in total funds to fully compensate the need of our affiliated schools and organizations. Anything raised will be allocated on the basis of prioritized necessity for each circumstance. Although the fall school-time is an annual occurrence, the urgency of your donation cannot be overstated. For perspective, each of the listed schools (below) struggles more to garner necessary educative resources than the crisis of similarly-neglected public schools across the country. To this end, we need your support.
